In a previous story, I shared some adorable pictures of my doll, Cherry, from her first birthday. Be sure to check it out below for a comparison later.

She looked so happy, smiling and eating her cake, making those adorable nom-nom sounds. Ah, pure satisfaction!
Happy doggo, happy momma. 🐶❤️

This year, it was time to celebrate her second birthday on August 10.

I decided to change both the cake’s colour and flavour. If I dislike repeating things, why would she feel any different?

Last year, I got her a dog-friendly pink, bone-shaped mutton-flavoured cake with embedded treats.

This year, I went for a chicken-flavoured, blue-coloured cake shaped like the number TWO, complete with embedded edible butterflies.

Cherry’s dog-friendly cake, a human-friendly cake for us, and new toys and treats for Cherry from her loved ones. | Photos by the author

It all looks picture-perfect, doesn’t it?
