Why You Should Stop Taking Relationship Advice Immediately
Why These Solutions Don’t Work for Your Love Life
People often advise that being in a relationship and being compatible with your partner is enough, and you don’t need anything else. They believe your relationship will be perfect this way.
It’s often said that to have a perfect relationship, you have to work for it. You have to make equal adjustments from both sides and ensure that if you go in different directions, you somehow find the middle ground. That’s how you adjust all the differences and keep the relationship fresh and thriving.
However, I don’t think so. I believe that a relationship is not as easy as someone guiding you about it or a book instructing you on how to save your relationship or keep that spark alive.
A relationship is much more complex than that.
The biggest thing about relationships is that every relationship is different from another, so you cannot study or decode them on a general basis.
- Sometimes, unfortunately, there are situations that do not even have a quick resolution. It takes time to resolve them and to even study and analyze them.
- Sometimes, you and your partner think so differently that it becomes very difficult to come to a common ground, so it’s not easy to adjust in every situation.
- Sometimes, it becomes too much to adjust. It becomes too difficult to find common ground, and avoiding that path becomes easier. Avoiding those conversations or arguments and just accepting things as they are seems easier in those situations.
So, relationships are not at all easy and cannot be generally decoded. Relationships can be very difficult depending on the type of problem and the situation.
I wish it were as easy as those books, guides, or advice claim it to be.
