The first time I heard the acronym “MVP” I was watching a basketball match. I remember everyone from the stands started to acclaim one of the players who was named league MVP (Most Valuable Player), that player with the most skill, who contributes the most to his team.
We also started to sing in a choir “James — the player — is on fire…” to celebrate that moment, but that’s another story.
