1995: Born to Make a Revolution
Uncommonly named according to many, I was born in January 1995.
Raised in a beautiful and loving home in Skopje, Macedonia, my first memories go back to the kid that went against everyone, always trying to prove a point, ever since the youngest age.
With this rebellious mindset of mine, I became the troublemaker, the seeker of rebellion, the one that simply couldn’t keep in one place for more than a few seconds.
People are born with a certain set of characteristics, everything else can be developed later in life. Or so they say. Many times the cycle is broken by people who defy the odds.
Introverts becoming the loudest speakers, students with bad grades taking the business world by storm, or the shy kid-next-door that no one thought would succeed, making a revolutionary discovery.
“What is this discovery?” you may be asking yourself right now, well, to put it simply, it isn’t as complex as you might think.
At the end of the day, it all boils one to one thing and one thing only:
Everything is possible when you have a little faith, both in the world and yourself, but especially when it is in yourself.
And so it was, with one’s true belief in himself, that I am a better version of myself, every day. That I won’t bound by any rules or boundaries that plague other people, I shall change the way people perceive their talents, I shall provide people with opportunity, despite all odds, I genuinely believe that I will change the world!
And so it began…
At the end of the day, this is one of the things that make the world a beautiful and unique place. It’s the starting point of every revolution in society.
And some people are born to raise a revolution.
Overall, I set my goal at a very young age. I truly want to make a change in the world, to influence. I want to defy the odds that society has placed upon me, and this is how it all started.
Welcome to my world, and the mission to empower!
1995–2015: A Philosophy of Shaping Your Own Life
I was one of those kids that never felt like I fit my surroundings. Between all the aspiring young children dreaming of becoming doctors or lawyers, I knew immediately that I will not be occupied by this system. My dreams were bigger and wilder and that is what made me the person I am today.
My education was problematic and a painfully long process, honestly. As a very shy, introverted kid, every school day was getting more and more difficult. I felt different, but not in a good way. Fortunately, my small circle of friends was always there for me, and they truly marked this part of my life.
I never liked the teachers. They felt somewhat unclear and sarcastic. Many times it looked as if they were there to mock the more vulnerable students and because they had nothing better to do than to spend their time in that small classroom. They weren’t there to teach us values or because they cared about us getting educated.
For things to get even more difficult, I used to have a speech disorder which made me stutter. Needless to say, this caused additional problems in my life. I was always embarrassed when I had to talk in front of teachers and other people. This, combined with overthinking really made my childhood troubled. Overthinking is really one of the worst things a person can do to himself. But, with everything else in life, this too eventually passed.
It wasn’t my favorite part of my life, but it definitely taught me many things.
Overall, middle school and high school were painfully boring, killing off even the last hope of becoming the student everyone expected me to be. The repetitive way of studying excluded the chance of creatively expressing myself, making me just another outcast in the school system. Nevertheless, I always knew that education is just a small fraction of the equation towards success. And instead of doing what others told me to do, I started improving my skills.
Due to the fact I was never into studying, the only getaway I could think of was through my computer screen.
Let’s go back to when I was five.
That’s when my sister was born. It was an immensely happy period for me. I didn’t know that such a tiny little person can bring you so much joy. Ever since that day, February 1st, 2000, she has been my inspiration. My sister woke up in me something new, a feeling that has been there for the years to come, pushing me to become a better person. I was never very emotional, but she is my exception and my motivation.
As an older brother, I put my focus on keeping her safe and making her happy. I wanted for her to have the childhood I never had. I said that I was an overthinker. Well, my sister is the thing that is always on my mind. It has been like this for 20 years now, and it will be for the rest of my time.
I used to have a large family but, as with many other families, it somehow all fell apart. Now it’s just my parents and my sister. In a way it always was. Us four against all obstacles and troublesome times.
We lived separately, but every weekend the family would come together. My grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and of course us. Over time, we all went our separate ways. Money was the main reason behind this.
It was the first time I ever thought of their worth and how they influence people. I was intrigued by their power to break families apart, to turn people against each other. Even as a kid, I separated money from happiness, though of them as two very different terms.
And I decided, I want to be happy.
Sometimes I miss those times, the family dinners or playing hide and seek with my cousins. However, the things that happened will remain in the past and many of them cannot be repaired.
I, my little sister and my parents together continued our separate path and, in a way, we were much happier in the years to come. They are and have always been my biggest support, and I am immensely grateful to them for that.
Many things cannot be forgotten, and we all get to carry our life baggage separately. Everything that has happened in the past has made me who I am, so I decided to share my story with you.
It goes something like this.
My First Job As “Sport-Betting Cashier”
We all at least once have had a job that we hated. For me, it was working as a sports betting cashier.
For 15 months, I had to work under pressure at all times, and deal with all kinds of people because “ the customer is always right”. The paycheck was not that bad, considering the low standards in my country. I got a little less than $300 per month and considering that I was still a teenager, the money was more than enough. My colleagues were awesome, but the whole system was a disaster. Prospering in your career was out of the question, but I needed the money. In the meantime, I was also searching for other jobs.
- My first choice was the internet. I always searched for ways of making fast money, including pay-per-click websites for which I was paid $15 per month. I didn’t give up and I always knew that behind all of those failed attempts something bigger is hidden. I knew that one day I will see results. It wasn’t easy though. Even my friends made fun of me for making an extra 15 bucks per month. But I didn’t care. Nonetheless, the job as a cashier was still my main income.
- In the meantime, I was in those years when partying and going to clubs was very important for my peers. For me, this was a real challenge, especially when I had to spend all of my earned money. That’s why I decided to take advantage of the situation. I became a manager. Eventually, from smaller events, I transferred to bigger clubs where not only I got to hang out with my friends, but everything was always free of charge for me and I even earned some cash. I was still in my comfort zone, but there were definitely major changes in my life at that period. From a shy person who barely ever spoke to other, I became much more talkative, I developed my sales skills and my confidence went on another level.
Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? I personally think that everything has to do with our choices.
So, on August 21st, 2015, Friday was my last day of being a manager. I decided that it was time to change my life, to get out of that life and do something better.
It was also the time when I met my soulmate, or at least that’s what I thought back then. Years later, I realized that people come and go, and things cannot be undone and some word cannot be unsaid. That, and all the other nice memories, happy moments, trips, business ideas, shared ambitions, plans, achievements… That’s all behind me now. Nonetheless, I am still grateful to this person, and I believe she deserves to be mentioned in my journey. After all, she was a part of my reality for 3 years.
Despite striving to change my life for the better, my motherland did not offer too much. Businesses simply always seem to fail here. Nothing lasts for too long. The politics are a mess, the people as well.
Even when I was a kid, I could see the reality of what surrounded me and patiently waited for the moment when I can break out of it. Many of my friends and the people who accepted this reality all moved away in other countries in search for a better life. For others, including me, there was still a chance of achieving something despite all odds. The best way out was definitely the internet.
As the days passed, I was still employed as a sports-betting cashier. A money race, on the wrong track. In the meantime, I was also developing my plans for utilizing the internet and its benefits to my advantage. I was working for 8 hours per day, but I also had enough free time to spend time with my partner, friends, and family by also managing to work on the internet. Sometimes I even spent up to 6 hours per day on the computer.
A portion of the day was also spent at the gym. Being physically capable is as important as being mentally strong. Everything was not going smoothly, unfortunately.
Still, I am not giving up. I still discuss with the friend I initially started training with, all those years ago, how we are going to look better until next summer. The discussion has been going on for 7 years now. Still, I am constantly devoted to this and hopefully, in the following years, I will see improved results.
I started working on myself in many different ways, instead of just trying to fit into society’s image.
And there it was, 2015 was a year of my great ‘‘discovery’’. Ultimately, the taken advantage of the internet proved to be very useful for me in the long run, which allowed me to enter a whole other digital world. I realized that the internet, in fact, is an incredibly profitable place.
It was definitely the year of self-discovering. Slowly but steadily, taking one step at a time.
Not knowing where exactly to begin did not discourage me, on the contrary, it just made me more assertive of my intentions. Throughout this period of my life, I was constantly changing, growing and learning.
I had to never stop exploring, failing, and getting back up. Fully aware of my skill set by now, I always tried to push forward, not letting anyone tell me that I can’t.
Everything I didn’t know, I learned.
Everything I was unsuccessful at, I tried again.
Eventually, I started searching for jobs, going through many unsuccessful attempts. But good things don’t come easy. You need to put all your best effort and attention into the things you love. That’s what persistence and stubbornness look like.
And this is what led me to finally turn a new page in my life.
2016: I Did It!
It was a refreshing year and the starting point of something much bigger.
After many attempts, I stumbled across a website called Upwork. A good friend of mine suggested it and immediately, on the same day, I created an account, registered and started a research on how to improve my profile.
Starting out as a freelancer, I obviously came across many obstacles. As every beginning, it was a real struggle. But, giving up was never ever an option. Every failure is a new lesson, and each obstacle is meant to be overcome. Only by doing so, you can truly succeed.
Day by day, and task by task, it was the motivation and the will to succeed that led me to where I am today. And the path was not easy at all. After completing countless courses and reading thousands of pages, I learned the main values that shaped the person I am today.
Over time I adopted a growth mindset, gained a different worldview, where “no” and “don’t” are inexistent. I learned what it means to be a good team player, and an even better team leader. By understanding the value of growth over money, I realized just how important it is to invest in yourself.
It was also then when I learned the true meaning of failure and how that can serve as a lesson, and provide clear actions of what to do and what not to do in the future.
Honestly, not to sound arrogant, but I was a fast learner which helped me a lot. I think it was because I had an eagerness to learn. And with many days and nights spent trying to improve myself, I finally got the opportunity I was waiting for.
And you know what?
I took it.
Meeting Damien and Quitting my Regular Job as a Cashier!
2016–03–28 (Monday) was the day many things changed.
The day I got hired by this man was the day I finally quit my job at the sports betting center. It was the day my life changed.
Back then, I was given an opportunity to work for a very successful company and became a part of an amazing team that taught me a lot about the business world nowadays.
At the end of the day, it’s up to you to decide who you’ll become. And me? I wanted to become the best version of myself.
It took some time, effort, and many hours of hard work, but eventually everything I did up until this point finally started giving results.
The year passed by as I was mostly working on the internet and educating myself. As a matter of fact, I was working with five clients, all which I found through Upwork. This made me happy. Basically, it was a life changer.
Some things are worth fighting for. And I waited for them for so long. Now my dreams were slowly but steadily turning into a reality.
2017: Almost There!
I tried everything, from writing to management. Each field gave an insight into what I really wanted to achieve. With each new job, I realized that everything can be learned, and just how important maintaining these skills really is.
I started educating myself on something that finally made sense to me.
It was the business world that always amazed me. I was interested in many fields, from technology to management, and went even further, by exploring biohacking, cryptocurrencies and much more. They were all worlds waiting to be discovered.
Eventually, I came upon another thing on the list of my passions — Writing.
At first, I used it as an escape from my daily routine. Every now and then when I had the spare time, I would sit down and start writing. But even then, it was more than a hobby. I used to write about my views on the world, about motivation or empowerment. Basically, everything that caught my attention and everything I wanted to share with the world. It was the push that was needed at the time.
Management was definitely something I was best at. Or at least I felt that way. The organizations, coordination, and developing management systems, I enjoyed this all the time. I created these systems for personal use as well. I used to track everything from my daily expenses to how much time I spend sleeping. Maybe it sounds weird, but I loved it. I still do.
This year was also the year when I discovered that my creativity was on a much higher level than I initially thought.
After all the years spent suppressing it, I could finally let my creativity take over. I knew that this, merged with my commitment, can take me a long way. The combination of these two is helpful in every sector, and above all, they are the leading force for every entrepreneur.
And there I was, ready to open my company and make another type of system. No more bossing around, but instead leading and empowering.
With this idea in my mind, I started my own journey towards success.
And I believe the best has yet to come.
Overall, 2017 was the year of progress, the year when everything started going in an upward direction. Already being experienced in many sectors like marketing, growth hacking and management, I actually felt ready.
After dealing with bosses, I realized that becoming one myself is not an option and it never will be.
Instead, I will become a leader like my first client, Damien, from whom I learned so much. A leader that will take care of his team and guide them through everything. A leader that will engage in team-building and will empower the people surrounding him.
In 2017 I started thinking about commencing a company — HE Group.
The idea is to raise many businesses in the future, all of them individual yet under the same HE Group. The vision for the company was big from the very beginning. And the plan, simply put, was to empower people and help them realize their ideas.
This was the main road towards me becoming my own CEO. And I let nothing come my way.
I admit, it cost me friendships, relationships and a lot of spare time. In achieving all of my goals, including this one, I spent countless hours on every single detail from my plans and strategies, visited many seminars, and met a lot of people along the way. When you want to succeed in a business field, you have to surround yourself with other successful people and learn from them.
I am lucky that some of my friendships endured despite all obstacles. Those are the people that I want close to me, and they have given me a clear sense of what true friendship means. It’s clichè, but we never lose friends, we only learn who our real ones are.
After a year filled with work and 27 different clients, my experience with this digital world grew, adjusting me for all possible challenges and obstacles in the business. My communication with successful people prepared me for the beginning.
I patiently waited for the year to be over, to make a summary of it (this has proven to be extremely helpful), and to finally START.
All the plans I had in my head finally started to make perfect sense. I knew exactly what to do and I was ready for the hurdles that were waiting for me.
The more clients I had, the more challenges I faced. Four of my clients never paid me a cent for my work, but even this did not discourage me.
And ultimately, it all paid off.
I wouldn’t want to finish this chapter without mentioning my dog, Beksy. I got him in 2017 and it changed my life, in a way. This tiny French bulldog that I love so much became my companion and a great roommate. He taught me everything about being responsible and caring. Even in the most difficult days he never left my side. Dogs are truly a man’s best friend.
2018: A Year to Remember!
When you combine working hard and working smart, only then you will see results. And that’s what I did. This year was a turning point for me. Everything that was only an idea once, it was finally coming to realization. Success does not come overnight, it takes patience and consistency. But when you believe in yourself it’s not an impossible task. Nothing is.
Nevertheless, the year 2018 will be a one to remember, marking the start of everything I worked for.
Soon after the Christmas holidays, I got to work. It was all about this organization, everything I did at the time.
It was the time when I created my first organization HE Group and everything else just followed.
The idea for HE Group is to widen the horizons of human engineering and overall educating the world. HE Group’s main focus is to mentor ambitious individuals, who lack the skills and knowledge but possess the passion and dedication needed for reaching success. The company specializes in personal branding and invests in startups.
Global Solution HE
And we didn’t want to stop there. Soon after I opened HE Group, I continued my work by opening Global Solution HE, a digital marketing agency striving to change the industry. It was founded in May 2018 and it is the first marketing agency I decided on opening within the borders of HE Group. The agency empowers businesses to maximize their performance.
Around the same time, I also created Bruno HE, the first branding product created and guided by HE Group. We started working on the online personal presence of Bruno HE in May 2018 and became active on various social media platforms. Initially, we started with Quora, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Medium.
Later, we added the Publication The Logician on Medium. This has become my personal canvas, where I can write all of my thoughts and engage in everything that interests me.
Global Solution HE — Winery Sector
In 2018 we had many successes and this was not the end yet. As a matter of fact, we also built a different digital solution for businesses, Global Solution HE — Winery Sector. Founded in October 2018, Global Solution HE Winery is a digital marketing agency specifically focused on the wine industry. As the name suggests, the Winery Sector is run under the guidance of Global Solution HE, with a team that is equally capable and experienced.
Finally, this year was also when I decided how to present myself in front of the audience and my readers. I see myself as a problem-solver and I always tend to think logically about everything in my life. Therefore, I decided to go with the name “The Logician” for my Medium publication which I decided to use it as a platform for my passion for writing.
The Logician is where I run my blog, answer questions on topics I am familiar with or do my interviews. You can find articles, guides, news about my companies, interviews with other entrepreneurs and successful people.
Bottom line, in this digitized world, this is one of the best ways to share your worldviews and connect with people.
This is a short recap of all the things I did in the business sphere in 2018. Somewhere along the way, at the end of 2018, I also created “My Projects”.
There, you can find more details about my companies and everything I mentioned before. You can do that on the link below.
It all went by so fast. As I believe you already noticed, this was a year dedicated to business and growth.
Many things changed and could see both me and my little sister grow in our own different ways. As I worked on my business, she graduated high school and got accepted to University. As a matter of fact, my sister got a full scholarship on the University American College — School of Business Economics and Management. She worked really hard for that and managed to score extraordinary results that got her the scholarship.
I couldn’t be prouder.
She was always the best student in her class, and now she can grow her education even more. In the meantime, my sister was always there for me, helping me manage the business. She never stopped believing in me, and I never stopped believing in her enormous potential.
I still can’t accept how much she’s grown up in such a short time. For me, she will always remain my little sister and one of the most valuable people in my life.
Starting a business is never easy. It has been a roller-coaster ride so far, but totally worth it. I am convinced the best is yet to come.
2019: The show begins
The start of the new year brought many changes. Just as in 2018, I also ambitiously entered 2019 with big plans and expectations.
I put my focus on a new company, myLinkedin Services, which specializes in LinkedIn as a business platform and offers creative solutions to LinkedIn users. I continued working on my previous projects as well, constantly upgrading them whenever I could.
I must admit, although I started very ambitiously I had to slow down and take a step back. I am an overthinker, as I already started, so I had my fair share of overthinking as soon as 2019 started. I am not afraid to say that I lost a couple of months on my anxieties and depression, while nothing was really happening. There was no progress, and the work was in stagnation.
After some time, I finally learned my lesson. Life is more difficult than it looks, and the physical pain is nothing compared to how you feel emotionally. If you can’t handle what you feel, it can ruin everything that you were trying to build over the years. I was even thinking of abandoning everything and starting all over again, from zero, somewhere far from home.
What I once felt to be my calling and purpose in life changed to “Is this something I really want to be doing my whole life”. Even worse, I was questioning whether I even like my life and whether I am happy or not.
The thing is, when you are making huge changes in your life it is beyond important to stay emotionally stable and control your thoughts, especially the bad ones. It’s impossible to always stay happy and positive, so these downfalls are not that unexpected, but they should be temporary.
Every story has its good and bad moments, and mine is not an exception. If you only hear the good things and flawless stories, don’t trust those people, as they are definitely not being honest.
In 2019, unfortunately, the good start turned out to be the exact opposite, something I was afraid it will happen in the past two years.
I’ve heard a lot of stories from successful people that to reach the success you need to be prepared for the downfalls, and that it is something more important to keep everything running, instead of constantly trying to grow and improve.
Nevertheless, I am not giving up. That is out of the question. The idea is to keep going. In these moments, when you are facing hardships, it is very important to have a good team that will support you. The sole thought that you have people that start the day ready to continue working together with you and support your cause is inspiring and is what got me back on track and helped me recover from all of the overthinking.
On another note, everything wasn’t all that bad. During the year, I realized that I wanted to improve my physical health. I wanted to change, and I’ve never been more determined about this. I used to work out regularly, but now I want results and I am going to get them.
This is important to me from many aspects, but by far the most crucial one is to improve the first impression about me. Looks are not everything, but they certainly play a role in what someone thinks about you the moment they meet you.
We never know when this might become important, so why not try and give my best?
I will continue with my work, despite the obstacles. I am already doing better, and it’s not all that bad this year.
I am working on the new company, myLinkedIn Services, and I have also included Instagram as another social media on the list. It’s an excellent platform, and I am using it for my Interviews as well. I want to spread my message and inspire other entrepreneurs with my work, and the work of other aspiring people.
In the meantime, I hope that things will start going in an upward direction and that I and my team will have many more successes and fewer downfalls.
For now, Stay Tuned!
Sharing so much on my life was not easy. Yet, I feel like I haven’t told you anything. After all, this is not my autobiography, this is merely a small portion of my entire journey.
So much has happened, and more is yet to come. I am positive about this.
For now, if you are interested in my story, I will be more than happy to write even more on me and my journey.
