“Hope” it is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of our greatest strength, and our greatest weakness. Never say die. You have to be mad, it’s true, to keep going and to have hope, but, We must always try to do the best we can — perhaps one day we’ll become human, who knows.
Today is all you have. Don’t worry about tomorrow. Just do the best you can right now. One day, one moment at a time.
No one else knows exactly what the future holds for you, no one else knows what obstacles you’ve overcome to be where you are, so don’t expect others to feel as passionate about your dreams as you do. Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.
Be silly. Be fun. Be crazy. Be you. Because life is too short to be anything but happy. A few years later when you look back to try to find good memories, you should be flooded with days and moments and months. Because…that’s what life is supposed to be. You know, in the beginning, when the universe first formed, it formed in the ratio of 1 billion particles of anti matter and 1 billion and 1 particle of matter, that ratio, was off by 1:100000000 and that 1 extra particle, is what created this universe. So live. If not for yourself, live for all those who cannot. Live for all those who died. Not just physically, but those who live abused, neglected, destroyed. You owe it to them. Do it. Be happy. Go post that letter, go sign up for that interview, because in the end, you will only remember how happy it felt when the wind touches your face and rain drops go down your body, how the drops are so cold but make you feel so warm inside. Even when the world is falling apart, you can pull yourself together. Do it. Be crazy. Be crazy because everyone dies, but no everyone lives.
