Wanderlust is the most common word in the Bio of half of the population, but currently of no use. One of the hardest-hit sectors by the COVID-19 pandemic is travel industry. Millions of eyes are stuck on the windows and thinking when these barriers will cut off and they well step outside the four-walls. I have an idea, rather than waiting for this pandemic to get over, the best, people can do to cure their zeal of moving out is window-shopping for future trips. We are all desperate to be on that proverbial road again, and there are millions, all over the world desperate to welcome us back. Here’s a list of 5 islands you should visit post pandemic to cut short your crave of travelling.

Bermuda:

A tiny island with a beautiful coastline surrounded by turquoise water. South shore beaches and pink tinted sand are major attractions. Bermuda’s Railway Trail comes under the most combination of natural and traditional heritage which provides a safe, scenic way to explore the island. Bermuda is a paradise for the divers and those who love the underwater world. Mark Twain wrote from Bermuda in 1910 during his long last visit — “You go to heaven if you want to, I’d rather stay here”.

You need more than one trip to Bermuda to visit all of the island’s attraction!

The Greek island’s volcanic setting gives travelers the chance to admire unique red and black sand beaches and hike to the top of the caldera for picturesque views of whitewashed villages.Kamari beach, Aumodi Bay and Fira to Oia Hike are some of the best things to do in Santorini. Most visitors spend their time on Thira (the archipelago’s largest island), which is home to Santorini’s major towns, including Fira and Oia.The best time to visit Santorini is when the weather is warm and the crowds are scarcefrom September to October and April to May.

Stunning sandy shorelines and beautiful interior of the islands filled with palm trees are just a few scenic memories you can make in Maldives. You can have one of the best views which occur right as the sun sets each night over the ocean, while having a chilled beer in your hand. With a few budget accommodation options you can experience pure luxury. Staying in an overwater bungalow is a dream for many people, and there’s no better place than the Maldives to make this dream come true. Scuba diving is one of the major pastimes.

Bora Bora:

Also known as the most beautiful island in the world. Matira Beach, 4x4 Excursions, Coral Gardens are the best things to do in Bora Bora. November and April are best months to visit Bora Bora. You can traverse the whole island in just a few hours and the best way to get around is by bike. Well, in the end I just want to add, this pandemic has just paused everything, the only way to deal with this is, stay at home. Okay, it’s not that boring, you can explore your own house. I am pretty sure you won’t know how many cracks are there in your walls, well it’s somehow interesting :)
