During the months of November and December of 2020, typically the peak consumption season, with Black “Green” Friday and Christmas, BabyLoop committed to planting 1 pine tree for each purchase made in its online store. Each of these pine trees would be identified with a plate with the name of who gave it and for whom it was.

Last November 19th The Loop co. was inGóis to make good on its promise. Dozens of pine trees were planted in Mata da Oitava, in the municipality of Góis, and in Serra da Lousã. The representative of the Forestry Technical Office and the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Góis were also a part of this initiative.

After the success of last year’s campaign, in 2021 BabyLoop has also committed to plant a tree for each purchase made on its onlie store from the 26th of November until the end of the year. Ricardo Morgado, Co-Founder & Head of Circular Economy, refers that “Above all, we want to make an appeal for a more rational and thoughtful consumption on Black Friday and Christmas”.

The Loop co. in general, and BabyLoop in particular, as a brand operating in the circular economy market, intend that all products live their life cycle to the fullest. With the growing environmental concern, this is a solution that meets all the needs of young parents: financial, environmental and security.
