Music is magic — and so is friendship

With help from an array of friends, old and new, my roommate and friend Caroline collected a list of favorite albums, songs, and miscellaneous listenings that could carry me through this healing process. She curated the suggestions into a gorgeous mini magazine.
I’ve sobbed, I’ve laughed, I’ve smiled, I’ve been reeling. I couldn’t have dreamed this.
I am surrounded by the most genuine group of souls who have extended so much love, creativity, and healing to me in such a meaningful way. The magic of music.
I’ve often leaned on lyrics to convey emotions and ideas that felt impossible to express. With my jaw wired shut, it’s more important to me now than ever to let music do the talking.
In my life, I’ve loved them all. ❤️
