“You took up half the bed last night, Cooper,” Zoey said, looking disgruntled.

“That’s because I’m large. According to the size charts, I may even be an extra large,” said Cooper.

“They say I’m large too, actually,” Buddy added.

“Maybe for a cat,” said Zoey, “But I heard the lady say, in your defence, that you’re big-boned.”

“Ah yes,” said Buddy, “She came to my defence when I swiped a slice of pepperoni pizza off a guest’s plate after the guest called me plump.”

“I can only dream of being that brave,” Cooper added wistfully.

“Guests are the bane of our existence,” Zoey grumbled.

“So, who’s really the bed-hog among us?” Cooper asked.

“The humans are; they’re lucky we let them share our bed at all,” said Zoey.

“Fact,” the others said in unison.

“I heard them talking about the Alaskan King the other night,” said Buddy.

“Seriously?” The others said, looking thoughtful.

These are Guide Dog Cooper’s stories, Dear Diary entries, and Challenges. They are written by me — the stories told from the dog’s perspective are for entertainment purposes only. They may or may not reflect real life, either way, they’re pretty close!
