London Fashion Week: The 11 Shops The Bloggers Go To
A Guide to a few of the vintage shops, independent stores and design houses that fashion bloggers always seek out when they’re in the city. Not all of them though — I don’t want you getting that perfect autumn coat before I do.
1. Leftovers

Vaunted and successful luxury fashion and lifestyle store. Japan’s high-profile retail coup, the shop was first established by Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo in the exclusive street that gave it its name.
“Chalayan and J. W. Anderson head up London talent in this destination store. Also stocks Holland & Holland, the re-vamped British uppercrust heritage brand.”
4. Frockney Rebel Vintage
An award winning boutique based in Bethnal Green, in the heart of London’s East End. Open every Saturday 10am-4pm.
“Actually affordable, to a point. Huge range of stuff. Good for a general wardrobe revamp, but also the occasional one-off treasure.”
5. MACHINE-A
An independent concept store for men and women with experimental British and International fashion design as its focus.
“It’s a real thrill being in a space where young designers can actually get their foot in the door. Buy here before they go big-time.”

International fashion labels in store for women’s clothes and accessories. Part of a small chain.
“Beautiful clothes and great customer service. Fresh innovative style with a passion for colour and prints.”
7. East End Thrift Store
Warehouse store for bargain vintage and secondhand clothing and footwear for men and women.
“A great thrift shop with good value vintage products on offer. The owners are in touch with current trends too. It’s basic but functional.”
8. YMC
A sophisticated and high-quality menswear store, offering sleek and functional designs for everyday chic.
“This place is perfect for gifts for guys who are into style. Everything is quality, and everything has a cool aura to it.”
9. Rellik
An independently owned vintage boutique stocking women’s clothing and accessories ranging in style and content from the 1930′s to selective pieces from the present day. Designers include Vivienne Westwood, Alaia, Bill Gibb, Comme des Garçons and Pierre Cardin.

10. Aime
A French multibrand lifestyle boutique bringing the best in French fashion design and homewares to London.
“The place to go to find French labels like Isabel Marant, APC and Italian labels like Forte Forte. Cute children’s Aime store next door.”
11. Blitz Vintage Department Store
2-storey Victorian warehouse for vast vintage fashion, lifestyle and secondhand homeware bazaar.
“The biggest vintage store in London, so have this place on your radar if you want quantity. The quality is pretty high too, but you might have to rummage.”
