Here is a Guide to some of the most amazing tennis courts around the world, inspired by The Telegraph, Business Insider and Match On.

1. Singita Sabora Tented Camp

A tennis court in the luxury tented resort of Singita Sabora. Have a game surrounded by nature, with the Serengeti wildlife reserve stretching off as far as the eye can see.

2. Bunabhainneadar Tennis Court

Come and play tennis on the most remote court in Britain. In a beautiful setting overlooking the Atlantic ocean on the road to Husinish, North Harris, the court at Bunabhainneadar offers a top class artificial grass surface and a cosy wooden pavilion (in case it rains!).

3. Grand Hyatt Denver Skycourt

Dubbed the ‘Skycourt’, this unique fitness facility overlooking the Denver skyline, as part of the Grand Hyatt Hotel Denver, also includes shuffleboard and fitness stations. Twelve laps around the jogging track equal one mile.

4. Stanglwirt

Part of the stunning Stanglwirt Hotel and Spa, these tennis courts are avaliable to non-guests for a small fee. Play a match in the shadow of the Austrian Alps.

5. Il San Pietro di Positano

This regulation-size tennis court lies between the rock face and a lush Mediterranean greenery, giving players the unusual pleasure of playing by the sea. The tennis court is complimentary and for guests only.

6. Cromlix House

Andy Murray has brought a piece of Wimbledon to his Perthshire hotel by having the tennis courts decked out in the famous All-England Club colours.

7. Alice Marble Tennis Courts

Located in Marina Sitting high atop Russian Hill and George Sterling Park (operated under the SF Public Utilities Commission) are the Alice Marble Tennis Courts, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Bay. The facility includes four tennis courts, a full-court basketball court and a practice wall. Beware: the views are so distracting, you may take your eyes off the ball.

8. Topnotch Resort

The tennis facilities at this world famous resort are second to none, with 10 courts, four of which are indoor, so you can play whatever the weather.

9. Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Autograph Collection

Along the stunning ocean coastline north of Kauna‘oa is the 11-court Seaside Tennis Club, one of the largest and most sought-after tennis experiences in Hawaii. In addition to great tennis, Craig Pautler and his team serve up some of the most thoughtful touches available at the best private luxury tennis clubs, as well as lessons and daily clinics, round robin tourneys, and a comfortable lānai to relax in the shade.

10. The International Tennis Hall of Fame

Playing tennis at the International Tennis Hall of Fame is an experience like no other. The Hall of Fame Tennis Club boasts 13 manicured grass courts, talented tennis instructors, and offers clinics, private instruction, fun events and more. Membership options are available and courts are open to the public. Over the years, all of the greatest champions in tennis history have played on these courts — and you can as well.
