Now I usually don’t entertain this, but it’s not every day that you hear a rapper, the caliber of Remy taking head shots at the throne. This is the female equivalency of if Jadakiss ever came for Jay z’s head in their primes.

It isn’t easy being a female rapper. It seems that hiphop only makes room for one at a time. Remy Ma started her career in the late 90s behind the infamous Terror Squad group with Fat Joe and Big Pun leading the pack. She is best known for the “walk around the medal detectors” line and verse in Fat Joe’s “Lean Back” single in 2004. She was a household name in NY for her hard bars and flows, but never really hit the mainstream as anticipated.

Her discography has never been sufficient enough to mention her name with the Missy Elliot’s, Lauryn Hill’s, and now Nicki Minaj. Her recent release of the joint album with Fat joe “Plato o Ploma,” post the elongated prison sentence, shined tremendous light on her brand. Espectially with a billboard top 40 song, “All The Way Up” featuring Fat Joe and French Montana.

Since her release from prison, it has always been rumored some of her bars have been directed at Nicki Minaj. Remy has repeatedly denied, and even went as far as to say that Nicki has never been disrespectful to her for a beef to even exist.

Well, guess what? Congratulations, you played yourself if you believed that she wasn’t testing Nicki’s patience.

After Nicki clearly threw shots at Remy in a song she featured in by Gucci, Remy took no time to respond over the “Ether” Beat.

Something tells me Remy was geared up for this.

The rest is history.

Quotables:

“I saw Meek at All Star (weekend), He told me your ass job, He couldn’t f*ck you for 3 months because your ass dropped, Now I don’t think yall understand how bad her ass got”

“I’m saying, How do you mix Nicki with a Minaj, I’ma park this bitch, put Nicki in a garage”
