Meanwhile Lamar is setting up some false info on the streets. He tells Slick that Jay Mo is the one that ordered the hit on Terry. Slick tells some one else and before we know it, word gets back to one of the 50 Boyz. Lamar clearly has a plan to try to get his streets back. He is also still fighting to get back in good graces with Monique. Lamar makes the decision to try to see his daughter Zoie at school and his plan backfires. Monique later confronts him on trying to see Zoie behind her back. She makes it clear to Lamar that she wants nothing to do with him romantically. Later that night Lamar and Slick head out to eat and Lamar decides to have sex with a woman in the fast food restaurants bathroom. After he is done, Slick tries to give him some advice on how to get Monique back. Lamar writes a bunch of letters and takes them to Monique claiming he wrote them while he was away. The plan somewhat works.

Meech runs into Kwame outside of a grocery store and beats him up badly. He asks if he had anything to do with shooting Terry but he denies any involvement. B-Mickie seems to be trying to put the moves on Kato while looking for a spot for the stash. A crackhead comes in and exposes the pair but B-Mickie decides to just move everything to the basement of his mother’s house. B-Mickie tells Meech that the streets are saying that Jay Mo was the one that shot Terry. Later that day when Meech goes visit Terry, he tells Terry that Jay Mo is allegedly shot him but Terry is skeptical. Terry thinks it was possibly Lamar but Meech can’t understand why he would come after Terry and not him.

Some of the guys press B-Mickie and Kato about Meech not hitting back on Jay Mo yet. Kato explains he needs to make sure Jay Mo actually shot Terry. She reminds them of the risk of killing Jay Mo and the blow back it will have on the crew as a collective.

Meech tries to have a talk with Filmel about flipping on Jay Mo and joining him to run the streets together. He seems slightly interested until someone walks up and he tells Meech to get away from him. At the hospital, Tawanda catches Terry trying to leave his room and when she tries to stop him, he passes out on the floor. When Meech comes to the hospital, he finds out Terry has an infection that requires more surgery. When he gets a phone call that his little sister is hanging out on enemy turf, he tells his parents he needs to leave. Lucille tries to ask her son to stay and be here for his brother but Meech tells her needs to go. The doctor comes in and tells the family that there is a possibility Terry could lose vision in his eye. Charles questions if there was a medical mistake made and threatens the doctor with a lawsuit if his soon indeed loses his vision. On his way out of the hospital, B-Mickie confronts Meech on how he is handling the Jay Mo situation. Meech does not want to come in trigger happy on the wrong target but B-Mickie feels his hesitation is sending the wrong message.

Meech picks up his sister and asks her why she would be hanging out in Ecorse. Nicole is angry that she has had to carry the secret of Terry selling drugs with Meech but Meech tells her she never had to do that. Meech tells Nicole that no matter what he is always there for her whether he is living at home or not. He gives his sister some money and comforts her.

That night, Meech and B-Mickie are at an abandoned lot. Detective Bryan rides up and drops Jay Mo off to them. He tells Meech to only ruffle him up a bit and that’s it. Detective Bryan rides off and Meech begins to beat up Jay Mo. At first Jay Mo has no idea why he is there but once he realizes Meech thinks he shot Terry, he tries to tell him it was not him. He cries as Meech holds a gun to his head. B-Mickie tries to rush Meech to kill Jay Mo and decides to walk over and shoot him. Meech becomes angry and asks B-Mickie what was he thinking. B-Mickie thinks he made the best decision and promises to tell everyone Meech was the one that carried out the murder. Meech reminds B-Mickie that he does not run anything so long as he is.

Meech has a conversation with his mother in the hospital chapel. The result is Lucille giving her son an ultimatum to leave the streets alone or he must leave her home. Meech decides to leave for good but requests that his mother continue to pray for him. Meech tells Terry that he ended up hitting back on Jay Mo but Terry told him he did not want him to worry about retaliation.

Lamar sneaks up on Filmel in the back of a building. The two men get into a fight. Lamar nearly chokes Filmel to death but he is able to get free by hitting Lamar with a glass beer bottle. Lamar gets Filmel back on the ground, while on top of him, he smashes him in the head with a tin can. Lamar picks Filmel up and smashes him head first in to the dumpster. He lifts up Filmel and throws him into the dumpster. He walks away out of breath.

Takeaways:

Lamar is finding his way back to running the streets by simply turning the main crews against one another. He is banking on an all out war between the 12th Street Boys and The 50 Boyz, so far his plan seems to be working.

Now how is Detective Bryan going to explain Jay Mo vanishing after delivering him to Meech. B-Mickie really made this situation messy and it’s clear his habitual line crossing will be a problem.

Is it just me or were we all confused by what exactly Lucille and Charles wanted from Meech. At first it appeared they did not want him at the hospital but then they were mad he was late and left the hospital. Chile, my head hurts.
