The episode opens with a flashback of young Terry and young Meech. The brothers have a fight in the kitchen and break their mother’s china in the process. The brothers stuck together and did not tell on one another, resulting in a beating. The incident was one of the earliest that established trust between the two.

Meech has a meeting with Pat. He went from selling too quickly, to not selling quick enough. Pat demands to be paid what is owed by week’s end with a late ten-percent tax on top. While in Pat’s car, Meech begins to visualize a dead Jay Mo which causes him to have a brief panic attack at the thought of being next. When Meech exits the car, Pat admits that he wants to keep the brothers under him, hoping this dashes their ambitions to establish themselves.

Pastor Swift visits the Flenory home to check on Terry and have prayer with the family. Charles appears to be slightly bothered by the bond Lucille has with the pastor. Meech comes by to check on Terry and Charles asks for the key to the house back. He wants Meech to knock on the door like any guest that comes to his home.

Meech tells Terry about the debt they owe to Pat and Terry suggests the brothers start moving drugs at some of the local factories. Apparently drug usage is spiking among factory workers.

Lamar has a meeting with the 12th St. Boys. Slick tells the guys they can trust Lamar to guide them while Filmel is recuperating in the hospital. Lamar promises to serve up proper revenge on the Flenory brothers along with the rest of the 50 Boyz. They agree to the terms only until Filmel makes his return.

Lamar later goes to see Filmel in the hospital. He threatens to kill Filmel if he comes out of the hospital and tries to re-establish his position with 12th St. For the time being and within an inch of his life, Filmel agrees to the ultimatum.

Detective Bryant and Detective Lopez come by to question Terry further on what happened the day he was shot. Detective Bryant tries to take it easy on Terry but his partner questions who the Benz that Terry arrived to the hospital in belonged to. Charles also demands to know who the car belonged to but LaWanda steps in and tells everyone the Benz was a baby shower gift from her Uncle. Lucille immediately ends the interview because of the line of questioning toward Terry.

When the detectives leave the Flenory home, Lopez questions his integrity when it comes to Terry and Meech but Detective Bryant quickly reminds him that he has been on the beat longer than him and knows how to work a case properly.

Lamar finally gets to spend some time with Zoey. She appears to be very happy he is back. She calls Lamar “dad” which really makes him happy. During his visit, Meech is paging Monique but she ignores it. Monique tells Lamar that if he plans on coming around he has to be around. She does not want Zoey being hurt again but Lamar promises he is not going anywhere and will always protect the both of them.

B-Mickie, Kato and Meech are surveying the factory site. Meech notices there is a lone food truck owned by a man name David. Meech asks him why he does not go on the physical site to serve food and finds out David refuses to pay $500 for a permit. Meech and Terry purchase the permit for David under the condition that they can sell drugs from his truck. David is apprehensive at first but Meech convinces him that with the extra money they pay him every week to use the truck, he can open the restaurant he dreamed of having.

Detective Lopez confronts Bryant on the disappearance of Jay Mo. Detective Bryant claims to not have knowledge of who Jay Mo even though he was the leader of the 12th St. Boys. In the middle of their conversation the two detectives are requested in to the war room. They meet Commander Marceline Beckwith who will now oversee the Flenory file. Detective Lopez is all for it but Bryant, not so much.

Terry and Meech go to one of the more seedy local strip clubs. Meech notices that some of the guys from the factory go to that strip club after work and figures that could be a way to build clientele. Pat is at the club and confronts the brothers. Accusing them of wasting time at a strip club when they need to be figuring out how they will pay him back his money. When Pat walks off, Meech goes to one of the factory workers and gives him a sample of their product. Meech says if he likes it to tell his friends about it and that he can find him for more the following day by the food trucks.

Lucille finds Meech in front of the house smoking and she tells him not smoke in front of the house. In the midst of the conversation, Meech tells his mother he moved forward and paid the mortgage on the house. Lucille is upset he would defy their wishes on paying the bill. She tells Meech to keep quiet until she can figure out how to tell his father about paying the mortgage.

The following day, the lunch trunk plan is a hit. The guy from the strip club goes to the truck to order his “stone burger” and a few of his co-workers follow suit. Over at the rec center, Meech gives his guy an special incentive to sell as much of the product as possible. The money is following in quickly between the rec and the food truck with Meech being able to get the money together for Pat. Detective Bryant goes to Meech and questions him about the disappearance of Jay Mo which Meech denies any knowledge of what happened after he smacked Jay Mo around a bit. Bryant warns them about the new drug task force. When Bryant leaves, Terry questions Meech on what was going on. Meech admits to Terry that B-Mickie killed Jay Mo and was the one who disposed of the body. Terry angered by B-Mickie killing Jay Mo and that Meech would trust him to get rid of the body. Terry demands that moving forward, everything must be 50/50 between the both of them or he walks.

Meech goes to drop off the money he owes Pat and discovers that Pat is getting high off his product. Pat tries to ask Meech to stay and celebrate but he tells Pat he is one his way to Terry’s party.

At the bowling alley, Terry and Wanda enjoy some kid free time. Terry asks Meech how the drop off went. Kato walks up and Terry asks her where B-Mickie is but she tells him she is not his keeper. Terry wants to handle the situation with Mickie and tells Meech that he is going to rule with an iron fist moving forward. Kato goes to use the bathroom and Lamar is inside waiting for her. Lamar wants to know all the information about the Flonery boys. He locks the bathroom door and demands information from her. Meech and the rest of the 50 Boyz have a stare down with the 12th St. Boys. They realize that Lamar is their leader now and Terry thinks he is likely the one that shot him.

Charles comes home and confronts Lucille about the mortgage being paid. At first he thinks Pastor Swift paid it but Lucille tells him it was Meech. He wants to know how long she knew about it. Charles demands she goes to the bank and fix the situation. Charles tells her she needs to do what he says or else. Lucille says you can not un-pay something and she reminds Charles that he is not her father and she does not have to do what he says. Charles leaves his key on the table and tells Lucille that she can let Meech be the man of the house.

Meech goes to see Monique. He question why she has not been answering his pages. Meech wants to speak to her about Lamar. As Meech is talking, Lamar pulls back the door to reveal he is there. Meech tells Monique he done dealing with her. The two men have words with one another which prompts Meech to pull his gun. Meech turns and leaves Monique’s place realizing that no one can be trusted.

Takeaways:

I am so glad Terry sees that B-Mickie needs to go. Now let’s add Kato to that list also.

Monique just wants the top dog at this point. Meech should have known that.

Well we find the loop hole with Pat. He gets high and that is a huge no-no.
