For many of us, there were certain expectations for the season finale of ‘BMF.’ One of the most notorious television villains created so much chaos this season and I think we all knew what we wanted to see.

Kato meets with a wounded Lamar. He is still bleeding heavily from his gunshot wound due to lack of medical care. Kato instructs Lamar to head to the repair shop where Meech will be meeting a new connect and likely be without security. Lamar takes the info and rides off as B-Mickie is in hot pursuit of his car from behind. B-Mickie, however, is pulled over by the police and taken into custody.

One-by-one, the entire crew is arrested. Terry is taken in the middle of the hallway at his school. Meech is arrested by Detective Bryant at the home of the mother of his child. All sitting in a cell, Meech and Terry wonder how solid Kato is considering she is the only one not locked up. As B-Mickie attempts to defend her, Kato walks by the cell — cuffed. The officers do not have enough evidence to keep the crew locked up, even after Detective Mars attempted to spook Meech into talking.

The family gets another chance at a settlement with the hospital. It turns out the surgeon had been drinking when the operation on Terry’s eye occurred. The family will receive $150,000 from the hospital after collecting everyone’s signatures.

Charles dances around the idea of opening a car service which would become the family business. Lucille is sure to remind Charles that ultimately the money is Terry’s and it is up to him how he wishes to use it. Later that day, when the family goes to sign the paper work for the settlement, they discover they will not receive a pay out and have to request funds to be dispersed as needed.

Charles decides to take Terry to the home of a man that runs his own car service. He breaks down how much money the family could make with this legit business. Terry tells his parents he needs to think over what he wants to do.

Meech makes an attempt to get to know Kato a bit more. She tells him about growing up with her father and learning about the game.

He gets a call about Lamar’s potential location. He’s located at a mortuary and gets some aide from a friend of his. As Meech and the rest of the crew arrive, Lamar has already slipped out in one of the hearses.

Meech and crew begin the process of gaining control over the entire city. They create a plan to drive one of the local crews to confront them about being on their turf. In the midst of the confrontation, Meech requests to speak with the Saint’s boss.

When Saint pulls a gun on Meech, he tells him this would likely not blow over well with his boss considering he may cause a lucrative opportunity to pass them by. Meech has a meet up with Boom who already knows the brothers.

B-Mickie and Kato have a discussion about the set up on Lamar. He tells Kato to ask Lamar to meet her for celebratory drinks after he leaves the repair shop. The pair once again sleep with one another.

Later that day B-Mickie meets up with Meech at the repair shop. He asks B-Mickie how much he trusts Kato. Would he trust her with the lives of the Flenory’s or his own. After feeling some guilt, B-Mickie admits that Kato has been working with Lamar. Meech tells B-Mickie he knew it already.

B-Mickie tells Meech about the repair shop plan and Meech says to move forward with the setup. When Lamar arrives to the repair shop, he realizes Kato lied to him. He heads to the bar and holds a gun to Kato, requesting she head outside with him. As the pair walk out of the club, Meech appears holding a gun to Lamar.

When Lamar points his gun at Kato, Meech tells him they do not care about her considering she’s a rat. B-Mickie points his gun at Kato. Meech shoots and kills Lamar. Kato tries to walk away and after she tells B-Mickie she loves him, he shoots her in the chest. She drops to the ground and before B-Mickie finsishes the job, he tells Kato he loves her too.

Meech and Terry have their meeting with Big L. Meech grabs some of the artifacts and Big L tells him to put it down and get out of her gallery considering she does not do business with him. Meech is dismissed by several guns in his face.

Big L subsequently agrees with giving Meech and Terry the additional product. Meech wants to celebrate but Terry reminds him of Lamar. Meech admits he killed Lamar and Terry asks him if he is proud of what he did. The question angers Meech and leaves to go celebrate his wins.

That night, Terry sits down to speak with his parents. Wanda is on her way out of the house along with Terry Jr. She tells Terry they will be staying with her cousin in Pennsylvania until she decides what she wants to do. The decision angers Terry but Lucille assures Terry everything will work itself out.

B-Mickie is pulled over by Detective Bryant and taken into custody. Bryant was tipped off about B-Mickie’s car being at the club where Lamar was killed. B-Mickie denies having anything to do with his death. Bryant pulls out B-Mickie’s gun that had ballistics ran on it — linking it to both the murders of Jay-Mo and Kato.

Bryant admits he does not want B-Mickie, he wants Meech and unless he cooperates with the investigation, he is going down for both murders.

Terry and Meech have a quick meeting downtown. Meech hands Terry a huge ‘BMF’ chain but Terry is disinterested. Terry gives Meech the news that he is out of the game and plans to use his settlement money to start up the car service with their father.

Meech agrees to go with it as long as the drugs could be filtered through but Terry shoots the idea down. He emphasizes to Meech that this business will be completely clean. Meech asks about how he will deal with Big L without him and Terry says that is now his problem to deal with.

Meech tries to call his brother back to him but Terry ignores the calls and walks away.

Takeaways:

I wondered if we would actually see Meech kill someone; about time!

I have no feelings for Kato being killed. That dry love story between her and B-Mickie was not it.

Wanda said ‘She gon step, PERIOD.’ I guess that is what really made Terry say forget all this drug mess. He got shot, lost his eye, lost his woman, I know he wanted to pull a Tyrese and yell ‘WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?’

B-Mickie just going to keep getting tested I see. A mess! Terry told him to get rid of that gun, didn’t he?
