BREAKING: Legendary Musician Tina Turner Passes Away at Age 83

Tina Turner, aka the Queen of Rock’N Roll has passed away at the age of 83. Turner was an iconic singer, dancer, actress and author with a career that spanned over 60 years. She was known for her ability to put on a great show with her vocal ability, trademark look and dance moves. She had her first hit in 1960 and never looked back. She was part of one of the most well-known duos in music history with ‘Ike and Tina’. After the split of her marriage and the group she made history again with one of the greatest rebrands in music history.

In 1984 Tina released ‘Private Dancer’ the multi-platinum album that had the Grammy winning “What’s Love Got to Do With It”. Turner’s music career was extremely successful selling over 100 million records and earning 12 Grammy awards. She was also the first black woman to grace the cover of Rolling Stone.

Tina Turner left a lasting mark on the music industry and also had a successful career in film as well. She started in multiple films and also had a biopic about her life, ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’. She is survived by her four children and millions of fans earned over the span of her legendary career.
