Isaiah John has been a part of “Snowfall” from the very beginning playing Leon who is the friend and confidante to Franklin Saint. Throughout the now six season run, John has brought real life growth to his character. From the hot head, to becoming more socially-conscious on his own — Leon takes refuge in Ghana with the hopes of connecting back to his roots.

Isaiah’s role on “Snowfall” gave more layers into the cause and effects of the 80's crack epidemic in Los Angeles, a story that the late John Singleton executed effortlessly on film and now on television.

With “Snowfall” coming to an end, I often think about what the conversation will be about this series 20 years from now, so I felt it was necessary to ask Isaiah his thoughts on the show’s place in television history.
