Dedan Thomas Jr, is a 6'1" point guard in the Class of 2024. Playing for the Dream Vision 17’s club team and attending Liberty High School in California, Thomas has proven himself to be one of the most talented point guards in his class.
Despite not being physically imposing, Thomas possesses an impressive combination of speed, agility, and quickness that allow him to navigate through defenders and make plays at a high level without ever getting sped up or forced into mistakes. He has exceptional basketball IQ and leadership qualities, which make him an extension of the coach on the court. He is a master in pick-and-roll play, he also has an exceptional ability to read defenses and make quick decisions with the ball. His court vision and passing accuracy are top-notch, allowing him to find his teammates in the most advantageous positions.
In addition to his passing abilities, the left-handed Thomas has a consistent shot with deep range and can finish around the rim despite his size. Defensively, he possesses quick hands and feet, making it difficult for his opponents to get past him. His all-around game and skill make him a top tier point guard, I’m looking forward to following his career.
