We open with a quick flashback to a young Meech in the corner store. He attempts to impress two girls by buying them the snacks they wanted from the store. Meech asks the girls to step out while he makes the purchase. The girls do not leave and the cashier blasts Meech for using food stamps. The girls pay for the stuff and poke fun at Meech. Pat approaches Meech outside and gives him some money to use to impress the girls later on. Meech looks on as he talks about Pat being someone he looked up to aside from his own father. Pat was the king.

Meech and Terry get a spot in the suburbs to use for the new stash house. Kato and Hoop come in for a drop off and Meech inquires about a missing B-Mickie. Kato tells Meech that B-Mickie is likely dealing with his mother who has been in the hospital but Meech is still suspicious considering B-Mickie never touched base with him. Terry sends Meech to get more work from Pat because between the rec and the food truck, they are selling out rapidly. When Meech goes to Pat, Pat is still refusing to sell Meech additional work. When Rock takes Meech into a back room to grab the supply, he tells Meech that Pat is washed up now and no longer has the supply he once had. Rock makes a proposition to Meech to help him with his connect problems.

Terry and LaWanda are planning the christening of the baby in hopes that it will get the family back together. While at the mall with Lawanda, Nicole and Darius, Terry has a run in with Lamar and some of the other 50 Boyz. Once Lamar spots Lawanda, Nicole and the baby, he simply throws Terry some money for diapers. We finally meet Meech’s babymom, Lori, and his daughter. Lori clearly is only beat for Meech in whatever capacity she feels like dealing with him at the time. On this visit she decided she wanted to sleep with him. When the two finished, Lori cut Meech’s father time short and asks him to leave before her mother gets home. Meech invites her to come to the christening.

The police department is still on high alert in search of Jay Mo. Detective Lopez’s theory is that the Flenory brothers, specifically Meech, killed Jay Mo in retaliation for the shooting of his brother Terry. Detective Bryant counteracts with Lamar likely being responsible for the disappearance of both Jay Mo and Filmel since he is now leading the 50 Boyz and has a violent history in the streets. After all, Lamar used to be the one that ran the streets before either of these gangs existed. Detective Lopez refuses to believe it was anyone other than the Flenory’s. Marceline notes that they need either find Jay Mo or Filmel in order to figure out who may be responsible.

Lamar shows up to the food truck and orders a stone burger. He blasts the menu item to everyone in line waiting for food. Hoop and Kato are forced to close up the food truck because of the exasperated requests. Meech, Terry and Rock meet at the corner store. Rock tells them it’s somebody from Florida that made it big. Rock’s only request is to receive twenty percent up front and ten percent on the back end. Meech agrees to five percent. Rock tells him he will be in touch. The following day at the truck, Hoop and Kato were paranoid wondering if Lamar would pop up. Hoop realized that everyone was at the truck meaning the stash house was unprotected. Hoop decided to head to the stash to see if his suspicions are correct.

Charles is still angry by his previous exchange with Lucille and is still refusing to even have dinner with the family following a visit with Pastor Swift’s niece that is planning to help the family with a lawsuit against the hospital. Charles expresses his mistrust for her and Pastor Swift but Lucille is adamant that she is trying to help.

Terry and Meech head to a fancy restaurant to meet with Rock. The brothers have some trouble at the restaurant because of their appearance. The host even calls them niggas under his breath. They head to a table tucked in the back and get a note on the napkin to come to the back. When the brother get outside they are rushed by two men with guns and are told to get in the back of a van. The brothers are brought to a dark field in the middle of nowhere. Pat and Rock are there and Pat is angry that the brothers were going behind his back for a connect. Things quickly take a turn when Pat brutally attacks Rock with a shovel, killing him. Pat tells the brothers to get rid of the body. Terry is shaken by the ordeal and asks Meech to leave him alone for a while.

Hoop was correct. When he arrived at the stash house, it had been ransacked. One of the culprits was still in the house and Hoop was able to graze his ankle causing him to walk with a limp. Lamar was armed with a semi-automatic gun and blasts through the house hitting Hoop. Hoop ducked behind a wall when Kato comes in shooting her gun and running Lamar out.

Hoop and B-Mickie meet up with Meech and Terry. They tell the brothers about the stash house robbery and Meech accuses Kato of being the one to tell Lamar where the stash was. Hoop and B-Mickie both defend her against Meech’s suspicions. Terry, still exhausted ans shaken by the incident with Pat and Rock, wants time to think on their next move.

Detective Bryant is called to the waterfront area of the city by another detective he has a past work relationship with. The dive team have discovered a body and Detective Bryant wants to know immediately who’s body it is. As we suspected, it’s Jay Mo and Detective Bryant is not pleased by the discovery.

At the christening, the family is finally together to celebrate. Meech and Nicole are named the god parents. While the ceremony is going on, Terry has flashbacks to the previous night. His flashbacks are similar to the ones Meech had after watching Jay Mo be killed. After the service, Charles tells Lucille he is coming over for dinner however plans change after Detective Bryant and Detective Lopez confront Meech outside. They ask him to come downtown to for a case about a missing person. Meech declines to go. Charles looks across the street at Meech and Terry’s cars and tells Lucille he will not be coming home for dinner after all.

Kato arrives home and is attacked by Lamar. Lamar tells her to never point a gun at him again otherwise he will kill her. Kato explains that she needed to establish trust with Terry and Meech. Lamar let’s her live because her father was someone he respected. Kato goes to see B-Mickie and sleeps with him.

Meech goes to see Detective Bryant. Detective Bryant questions why he killed Jay Mo but Meech denies it. Meech tries to throw additional money at Detective Bryant and reminds him that he still needs him as much as he needs him. Meanwhile, Terry meets with the potential new connect. It’s the woman from the bar he denied a few days prior. She tells Terry she likes how he handles things and only wants to work with him. The two of them make a deal and she tells Terry she will be in touch.

Takeaways:

Meech is spot on about Kato but he will have some trouble convincing the other guys she is the mole especially since she has slept with B-Mickie.

Lamar is ruthless on the street but extremely loving when it comes to Zoei, which will make things sticky moving forward.

Is Charles does not do anything else, he will sit there and mess up any plan. He really tried to give the lawyer a hard time about getting him some money. A mess.
