Few actors have garnered the respect of critics, colleagues, and the streets as De’Aundre Bonds. It is well-deserved.

Bonds has starred in ‘Tales From The Hood,’ ‘Sunset Park,’ ‘The Wood’ and ‘Dope.’ His portrayal of Stacey in the 1999 film ‘The Wood’ became a legendary portrayal of big brother to little sister with a Black family dynamic, which De’Aundre himself relates to heavily having five sisters.

In my below interview with him, we talk about all of that, and much more. Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe.

De’Aundre has been through a lot, which will be covered in his upcoming autobiographical book, but his resurgence on screen as ‘Skully’ on FX’s hit crime-drama series ‘Snowfall’ is one for the books.

‘Snowfall’ scored some of it’s highest ratings during season four of the series where Bonds character ‘Skully’ had the most pivotal story-arc.

De’Aundre Bonds is truly deserving of his flowers as being such an amazing representation of Los Angeles as well has his versatility on screen with honest and humanizing portrayals of Black men in inner city landscapes.
