PREVIEW: Apple TV+ Series ‘HIJACK’ Starring Idris Elba

‘H/JACK’ (pronounced Hijack) is a 7 episode thriller where an international flight leaving Dubai is hijacked by a group of terrorists. Idris Elba stars as Sam Nelson, a corporate negotiator trying to make it back to London. As the sole voice of reason on a plane full of hostages and armed hijackers, Nelson must use his intellect to keep everyone in good health.
This would be a tall task for any experienced negotiator but corporate negotiations do not have guns involved or lives at stake. ‘HIJACK’ does an excellent job of keeping you guessing and giving characters a unique story and purpose. Nelson is committed to doing anything he can to keep all 200 passengers alive with his knack for closing deals, but it will be a tough assignment with a plane full of biases, family dynamics, religions and more.
