Garman Reaches Milestone In Triumphant Fashion

On Saturday January 23, 2016 the Warner Robins Demons boy’s basketball team defeated crosstown rival Northside Eagles in triumphant fashion. Jacolbey Owens’ buzzer beater as time expired gave their head coach his 100th career victory.

In only his sixth season as head coach at Warner Robins, Jamaal Garman has already enjoyed great success. In 2014, he led the Demons to a 27–3 overall record and a trip to the class AAAAA state championship game lost to Miller Grove. The following (2015) season, Garman led Warner Robins to a 25–5 overall record and their second consecutive appearance to the final 4 state semifinals.

Likewise, the Demons are off to a fantastic start in 2016 with a 13–2 record thus far and are poised to make another run at the state titleCurrently ranked #8 in the Score Atlanta state AAAAA rankings.
