PROFILE

Amari Burnett is a freshman at Warner Robins (GA). In two years at Warner Robins Middle School, he averaged 7.2-points, and 6.7-rebounds per game en route to back to back championships. The 6-foot-3 wing may end up being around 6-foot-7 before he graduates high school. With that said, look for him to eventually become a big time player for the Demons.

Moreover, Burnett, an original member of Hypesouth Elite (formerly Macon United) is entering his fourth season. With his continual growth and development, he has the potential to be a huge stat stuffer for the Hypesouth Elite program moving forward.

PROFILE

Ty’Juan Clark is an eighth grader at Weaver-Macon (GA) Middle School. He is very active on the boards and a great shot blocker. Given that this is only his second year playing organized basketball, Clark is a raw player who is learning on the fly. Nevertheless, his relentless effort and athleticism on both ends of the floor will be huge for his development.

Clark is a second year player for Hypesouth Elite (formerly Macon United). After getting his feet wet on the travel circuit last year, expect him to be more of a contributor moving forward.

PROFILE

Kobe Sewell is freshman at Mount de Sales Academy. He is a fundamentally sound guard that isn’t flashy, and usually makes the right decisions on the court. Sewell served as the starting point guard for Mt. de Sales Middle School and led the Cavaliers in assists (6apg).

Further, he is entering his second summer with Hypesouth Elite (formerly Macon United). Sewell is one of the lead reserves and always provides a spark when called upon.

PROFILE

Antoino Card is a freshman at Central-Macon (GA). He was a three year starter at Miller Middle School, where was heavily relied upon to do just about everything. As an eighth grader, Card averaged 11-points, 5-rebounds, 4.3-assists, and 2.6-steals per game.

Likewise, in his third season for Hypesouth Elite (formerly Macon United), he is expected to be a lead reserve. Card is an athletic swingman who hustles and harasses opponents defensively.

PROFILE

Kelvin Burrell is a freshan at Howard (GA) High School. He was a spot starter at Howard Middle School last season. The 6-foot-3 forward is a versatile player that can play both the post and wing positions.

Further, Burrell will be in his second summer with Hypesouth Elite (formerly Macon United).

The ceiling is very high for this kid given that he has nice measurables and a few inches left to grow. If he continues to develop, he has the potential become a household name in the Middle Georgia area. At this point, Hypesouth views him as a low-risk/high-reward player, with the belief that the latter will come to fruition.

PROFILE

Jamarco Hughes is a freshman at Rutland (GA) High School. He was a two year starter at Rutland Middle School. The undersized guard is a superior on ball defender that gives opposing ball handlers nightmares. He uses his low center of gravity and quickness to his advantage.

Additionally, Hughes is an original member entering his fourth season with Hypesouth Elite(formerly Macon United). The 5-foot-7 guard has the heart of a lion and is regularly called upon to guard the opposing team’s best perimeter player.

PROFILE

Brandon Simmons is a freshman at Howard (GA) High School. He played two seasons at Howard Middle School. Simmons is a very straight to the point player, he is not flashy, very active on the boards, and plays until the whistle blows. He is that “glue guy” that every team needs in order to be successful.

Moreover, Simmons is entering his second summer with Hypesouth Elite (formerly Macon United). The coaching staff at Hypesouth will look to help develop Simmons on the offensive end, which will make him even more of an asset.
