Tattnall’s Marshall Already Prepping for Senior Season

Although the 2015-16 GHSA football and basketball seasons are officially over with for the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans, 6-foot-5 Jimmy Marshall has already began prepping himself for next season. Next year will be the final season of Marshall’s high school career and he aims to go out on top. The two sport athlete continues to physically train and mentally prepare himself for his senior campaign.

After coming off of a significant knee injury in 2014, Marshall returned to form in 2015 posting solid statistics in both football and basketball. He was selected to the GHSA-Private All-Region football team and the All-Star basketball game by the coaches committee.

Notables:

  • In 2014, the Macon Bucks Association (MBA) were the USBA National runner-up. However, they refocused and went on to win their first ever USBA National Championship in 2015.
  • Jimmy Marshall III impressed and turned the heads of many at the 2015 Georgia Cup Exposure (for the top sophomores & juniors in the Southeast) camp with his all around play and tenacious effort on both ends of the floor. He averaged an impressive 19.2ppg 7.3rpg 5.8apg 4bpg & 3spg during the camp.
  • Jimmy Marshall III was invited to the Future 150 camp held in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jimmy Marshall III is the son of Jimmy Marshall Jr. and Latascha Owens-Marshall. His father is a graduate of Central High School and his mother is a Southwest High School graduate — both located in Macon, Ga. Additionally, he is the eldest and proud brother of Jamal Marshall and Ja’Kaylee Marshall.

Upon graduating high school, Marshall III plans on attending college and earning a college degree. He aspires to be a standout student athlete on the collegiate level both academically and athletically.
