Westside Looks to Continue Dominance Against Southwest
Patriots Looking to Make History
Entering tonight’s game, Westside-Macon possesses a commanding six games to none all-time series lead versus the Southwest-Macon Patriots. Likewise, they have been totally dominant (32–0) against all other Bibb County public schools.
Last Friday, the Seminoles opened up the season with a 21–0 shutout win over Howard. Even with the win, the Seminoles often looked out of sink and struggled to find their identity for most of the game. More glaring, Westside was not as dominant as it has been in the past.
On the other side, this will be the season opener for Southwest. The Patriots have arguably the best mix of talent, experience & youth that they have had in years, which has sparked conversation and put Westside on upset alert.
