My daughter’s big stage dancing debut at The Grammy’s proved to be the perfect fit
My daughter had only been back in her Los Angeles apartment for a week after evacuating from the awful wildfires when she got the email. She called me right away.
“Mom, I got an audition request for a gig to dance at The Grammy’s!” Her excited voice was reverberating through the phone so I switched to Facetime so I could see her beautiful, smiling face.
“You’re kidding me!!” I said with excitement back. “Wow, this is such a cool opportunity and a gift to be invited to audition.”
To dive deeper into the dancing world in Los Angeles, it’s a competitive edge to have a talent agent who can send audition information that you would never likely know about. Some audition opportunities are only given to dancers that have a talent agent.
Thankfully, a few months prior, she landed an agent and we were all on top of the world. Her passion was going somewhere and we could all feel her dancing dreams about to come true.
