How many times have you thought of a brilliant app idea, only to realise that you don’t have the resources to turn it into reality?
This very question led to the development of Makeroid, a platform where anyone can create apps, even with zero coding experience. We built Makeroid so that those bazillions of unborn app ideas could finally be materialised.

When we first released our product to the public, we had less than a hundred users in our systems. Little did we expect that we would grow to nothing less than 15k+ users in a span of less than 6 months. The massive spike in users goes to show one thing: all our users have amazing ideas, and require nothing but a tool to help them transform those ideas to reality. At Makeroid, this has been our core inspiration and is what drives us to add more features and improve our platform. Alongside our amazing user community, we have privileged users who constantly provide us with positive, helpful and constructive feedback. Together, we push ourselves to an era of easier app development, where every idea and every concept can be translated into tangible reality. It couldn’t get more satisfying than to see an app made using Makeroid on the Play Store break all records.

A clutter-free interface to get work done easily

We at Makeroid aim to bridge the gap between apps and concepts, and intend to wipe out “code illiteracy”. Ultimately, we believe that programming syntax shouldn’t be the one holding back amazing ideas from leaving the drawing board.
We achieve this by an ingenious and intuitive solution: we have replaced code with blocks. Blocks, like Lego, form the core of the app; they control everything, from the layouts to the logic. Lego blocks are undeniably enjoyable, partly because they give us a sense of control. Makeroid does the same, by placing you in the driver’s seat, from where you can control every aspect of your app without having to write a single line of code.

We hope that one day, everyone will be able to make apps of their own, and get to know what it feels like to have developed something on their own. As of now, this is a dream yet to materialise, but we do hope to continue on our upward trajectory and reach our goal soon.
