Fear List – Mantra of Satisfaction

We all are alike yet different. We all are reserve yet gutsy. We all are surrounded by people yet lonely. But there is one thing in common, we all feel amazing when we are satisfied with the moment. We can’t live in utopia all the time but the moment of satisfaction is all what we need.

Question is how do we feel satisfied ?

Every person is unique yet same. There are many things which contribute in our satisfaction with life. Though the amazing creature we are, we will change our criteria when current one is fulfilled. Thats what makes us human, The Sapiens; HomoSapiens.

So is there any prescription to feel satisfied ? Probably Yes.

One thing I noticed : we all feel satisfaction when we overcome our fear. That is the time our brain releases enough of dopamine. Unfortunately we can not trick our brain with virtual world apps and gadgets. We have to make ourselves act in real world.

So it all boils down to simple solution. Face your fear. To face your fear, you have to know yourself. If you do not know, ask your friends. Ask your family. Ask anyone. Get answer of this question : ‘What do you think I am afraid of’

Now when you have few answers, note them down. Make a todo. Your aim is to tick them off one by one. Make a plan and stick to it.

Fear List

First step first, prepare the fear list. No matter how small OR biG OR simple freaking OR childish the fear is, be honest and note it down.

Go through your fear list and research what is best time and place to do each activity. Don’t be a naive and try to overcome your fear with improper resources and timing. If you try at bad time OR with not right tools, you might stuck in your fear and it will become difficult next time.

Plan and stick. One good way is to announce to public OR to people close to you. In-fact share your calendar if you can. To make it more rigorous, announce you will give every person some party OR money if you fail to achieve your target.

You have got one life. Having fear is quite okay. Not overcoming them is foolish. The worst thing is to have in life is regret. Keep everything but regret.

Make your moments count. F*** the Fear. Have fun with your fear not the vice versa.

If you are afraid of water, wear a life jacket and go for cliff jumping. If you are afraid of heights, go for bungee jumping.

Write, plan and tick-off.

Just Do It
