I may not be a farmer but one thing I know for sure is that, a farmer is the backbone of India. Any harm to it is going to paralyze India.

India has always been a farming oriented nation since ages. Its soul has always been a village life. India seen in metros is just a fraction of new reflection of modern India. But a vast majority of people still live in villages.(Check this link) If you look around your neighbors in Indian cities many may have been having some village connection.

A major chunk of our economies are dependednt on farmers. For example take a tractor example. The manufacturing companies set up lakhs of crores to manufature and distribute tractors for further sale to farmers. The diesel it consumes to further run. Not only this but people enganged in repairing and selling of its spair parts. Its a whole economy in itself. If a farmer is not able earn much or his land is further sold corporates all this ecosystem of economy will soon will end up. It will be direct hit to economy.

Not only this but the fertilizer and seed companies will also loose there buyers.

Has the government thought about all these aspects ?

Note: My thoughts will be scattered but they will be keep coming on this farmer protest issues.
