Mantua patrol summary, Feb. 13–19

Feb. 13
● Ptl. Hauss attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle believed to be involved in a commercial burglary. The vehicle fled and was pursued into Camden where the subject was apprehended.
● Officers took a theft report where the victim’s trunk was open and medication was stolen.
● Officers took a harassment report where the victim was receiving threatening text messages.
● Units assisted a motorist who had locked his keys in his vehicle at the Super Wawa.
● Officers assisted West Deptford Police Department with a domestic violence arrest.
● Patrols responded to the Target store for a shoplifting where they arrested a 21-year-old female suspect.
● Officers responded to a crash on Berkley Road near Creek Lane in which two vehicles needed to be towed.
● Officers took an identity theft report.
● Ptl. Bair conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants.
● Ptl. Oldrati conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for possession of drugs.
Feb. 14
● Ptl. Donovan and his K-9 partner, Boomer, tracked a subject who was mentally unstable that had ran through the woods and needed treatment.
● Patrols responded to a crash on Mantua Boulevard and Main Street where both vehicles needed to be towed and one person was transported to the hospital for treatment.
● Officers responded to a crash on Main Street by Tylers Mill Road.
● Officers assisted a motorist who had locked his keys in his vehicle while at his house.
● Officers responded to the Wendy’s for a vehicle that had backed into their fence.
● Ptl. Oldrati arrested a subject at their house for an active warrant for their arrest. They were turned over to the county jail.
● Units responded to a two-vehicle crash on Breakneck Road in the area of Shadowbrook Trail where one vehicle needed to be towed.
● Ptl. Oldrati conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 15
● Officers took a theft report where the victim reported that several items were missing from his work vehicle.
● Officers took a fraud report in which the victim received a phone call that a loved one was in an accident and needed money.
● Ptl. Riepen and his K-9 partner, Bane, assisted Sgt. Herner on a car stop in which there was a positive indication on the vehicle.
● Sgt. Herner arrested two subjects on a car stop for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
● Ptl. Riepen assisted Franklin Township Police Department on a car stop with a positive indication.
● Units responded to a domestic disturbance in which the male was intoxicated and damaged property of the victim. He was arrested, processed and released.
● Ptl. Krieger arrested a subject at his residence for an outstanding warrant.
Feb. 16
● Sgt. Herner conducted a car stop and arrested a female for outstanding warrants. There was also a male who was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing the investigation. Both were charged and released.
● That same couple was involved in a domestic in our lobby once they were released and the male was arrested again for domestic assault on the female.
● Ptl. Mroz arrested a subject for outstanding warrants after investigating a suspicious vehicle.
● Units responded to a vehicle that struck a mailbox on the victims lawn and kept going.
● Officers responded to Carolina Blue for a disturbance in the bar and parking lot.
● Officers responded to the Hallmark store in the Tollhouse Plaza for an employee that was being harassed.
● Officers responded to the Kohl’s store for a shoplifting.
● Units responded to a crash in which a tractor trailer struck a utility pole and kept going. There was minor damage done to the pole.
● Units responded to a crash on Woodbury-Glassboro Road in the area of Center Street.
Feb. 17
● Officers responded to check the well-being of a juvenile that was reported to be present while a party was happening. Officers checked the house and there was no party.
● Ptl. Hauss arrested a subject at his house for outstanding warrants.
● Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up litter along Route 45 and Heritage Road.
● Officers conducted foot patrol of the Lowe’s shopping center.
● Officers conducted foot patrol of the Kohl’s shopping center.
● Patrols checked a vacant property for a report of juveniles inside.
● Officers arrested a female for breaking the window of her child’s father’s vehicle.
Feb. 18
● Ptl. Oldrati arrested a subject during a motor vehicle stop for possession of drugs.
● Ptl. Layton arrested a subject during a motor vehicle stop for outstanding warrants.
● Officers responded to a subject that was overdosing on heroin. He was transported to the hospital.
● Patrols responded to a crash on Bridgeton Pike in the area of Heritage Road.
● Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the Timbercrest development.
● Patrols responded to a minor crash on Woodbrook Drive.
● Officers assisted Woodbury Heights Police Department with a crash involving a vehicle that struck a building.
● Officers took a report for stolen license plates.
● Units investigated a fireworks complaint, but found it to be the electric company doing work.
Feb. 19
● Ptl. Sheilds arrested a subject during a motor vehicle stop who had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was turned over to the county jail.
● Officers responded to a dispute between neighbors over the dog’s defecation location.
● Officers responded to the Fulton Bank for an irate customer who was creating a disturbance.
● Officers responded to a crash on Route 55 in which it was reported that an occupant was ejected.
● Officers responded to the Target store for a suspicious person in a mask pacing the parking lot. Officers located subject and he ran to avoid apprehension. Officers were able to quickly apprehend. He was charged with drug related offenses.
● Units responded to a crash on Jefferson Road in which a vehicle struck a pole.
