Candidates for three seats on BOE announced June 5
The names of candidates running for three full-term positions on the Evesham Board of Education were announced Wednesday, June 5. Incumbents Jay Levenson, Lisa Mansfield and Joseph DeJulius will be vying for the three positions with two challengers, Nichole Stone and Steven Coppola. The announcement comes on the heels of controversy surrounding current board member Rosemary Bernardi, who allegedly made numerous anti-Semitic comments.
Two candidates for the Evesham representative of the Lenape Regional High School District were also announced. Joseph W. Borucki and Kevin Rodgers will oppose each other for the single position.
General elections are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5.
