Coffee with a cop
A new program offered by the Evesham Township Police Department offers citizens an informal venue to ask questions or voice their concerns.
Officers from the Evesham Township Police Department will be available to answer law enforcement related questions during our second Coffee with a Cop event held Sept. 22 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Starbucks located at 300 Route 73 South in Marlton.
“The Coffee with a Cop program is a unique way to strengthen the partnership between the police department and community we serve. It is designed to enhance communication between concerned citizens and township police officers,” said Evesham Township Police Chief Michael Barth. “We believe that this type of open dialogue plays a critical role in establishing a true partnership between the community and the police department.”
Members of the community will be able to ask specific or general questions related to the neighborhoods they live in.
The Evesham Township Police Department places a high priority on community partnerships and believes these types of events can only foster better relationships.
The police department is planning on hosting the Coffee with a Cop on several occasions throughout the year at different shops or restaurants in the township.
