Concerned citizen leads Evesham Police to wanted person wandering in yards

The following report is on file with the Evesham Police Department:

On Sept. 14 at 7:30 a.m., an Evesham Police Officer, while conducting traffic enforcement, was approached by a concerned citizen. The observant citizen advised the officer that an unknown male was observed wandering around homes in the area of Greenbrook Drive and Evesboro Medford Road.

The male was located by officers and provided officers with a fictitious name. Further investigation determined that the male was a wanted person and was in possession of heroin and hypodermics needles.

Arrested:

A male, age 38, of Marlton, was arrested for third degree possession of heroin and a disorderly persons offense for possession of hypodermic needle and hindering arrest. He was released on his own recognizance.
