Evesham Police arrest Philadelphia woman on multiple counterfeit charges and heroin possession

The following is on file with the Evesham Police Department:

On Oct. 17 at 2 p.m., Evesham Police responded to the GNC Store located in the Marlton Crossing Shopping Center, 101 South Route 73 for a female attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill.

The female was located by officers and arrested. During a subsequent search of the females property she was found to be in possession of additional counterfeit U.S currency, merchandise from other stores in the complex that was purchased with counterfeit bills, heroin and drug paraphernalia. All recovered property was returned to the stores.

Arrested:

A woman, age 44, of Philadelphia was charged with three counts of third degree Forgery, third degree possession of heroin, and a disorderly persons offence for possession of hypodermic needles. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of bail.
