Rocco J. Maiellano was recently honored for his dedication and work at the Evesham Township Municipal Utilities Authority through renaming the Water Storage Tower on Lincoln Drive to the Rocco J. Maiellano Water Tower.

Maiellano began his employment with Evesham Township in 1980. He has served in various roles at the MUA including assistant supervisor, supervisor, operations manager, assistant executive director and executive director.

Maiellano retired from the MUA on Dec. 31, 2009.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized by the township,” Maiellano said. “This town is a wonderful town to work in, with the mayor and all the employees. It’s nice to know I now have 2 million gallons of water to fill my glass with. Thank you very much, I appreciate it.”
