The Yellow Ribbon Club is inviting the public out to 13 Buckingham Road, Marlton, to welcome home a member of the armed forces as he reunites with his family on Sunday, May 1, at 1:30 p.m.

Please come out to welcome home CWO Manish Karnik from deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Manish served in the Army National Guard since September of 1993. He started off as a PVT and worked his way up to CWO.

He has received several awards including U.S. Army Achievement Medal, Army National Guard State Commendation Medal, Letters of Appreciation from several OIC/NCOICs for outstanding support, Sustained Superior Performance, and cash awards for DOD Civilian Position.

He is always anxious to support and defend our nation’s interests both domestic and abroad. He always volunteered for flood duties and snow storm duties, club representatives reported. He also volunteered to guard the George Washington Bridge after 9–11 occurred.

He requested and volunteered for deployment and his first choice was Afghanistan, but instead he was sent elsewhere in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Manish is married to Sona and they have two sons, Tanuj, 7-years-old, and Anuj, 2-years-old. Sona asked if we could welcome home her husband.

For more information please call Leslie at 609–980–4175.
