What Exactly is a “Marvin Journal”?

Welcome to the stray thoughts of a parody of Lee Marvin.

A couple things. First off, I am not Lee Marvin. He passed away some time ago. But he is my favorite actor. In many of his best roles, Marvin was a man of few words. I wanted an excuse to use as few words as possible to talk about movies and life, two things I love but which overwhelm me.

So, The Marvin Journal. I started it about a year ago with this post, and moved over to Medium just the other day because sometimes, a change is as good as a rest.

There’s a framing device of just why old Lee has to watch movies and write about them, and that will be revealed over time. Don’t worry about it. Lee and I are just happy someone’s reading these things after all we’ve gone through.
