The crisis in the masculine identity is self-evident nowadays. Unfortunately, the reverberated consequences of such a crisis affect man negatively in his individual and social spheres.
Not knowing what and who one is, perpetuates confusion while we try to define values as masculine and feminine.
After reading this excellent book, “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover,” written by the psychologists Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette, about the rediscovery of the archetypes of the mature masculine, a strong urge, an impetus came to me: I should share this knowledge about the masculine psyche and soul with my fellow man.
Despite the publication’s focus on men, both men and women should benefit from its insights for a few reasons:
