Medium isn’t going to make you a millionaire. What’s worse, it’s not even going to pay your monthly bills. And I’m dead serious.
If you’re a new writer starting your Medium journey with high hopes of squeezing all the juice out of this platform, I have some bad news for you.
Don’t get too excited.
Don’t rush.
Trust me, you’ll thank me later.
Medium isn’t a place to vomit AI-generated content
A few days ago, one of my cousins called me to take a look at his Medium profile and give him some advice.
When I visited his profile, I was quite astonished.
His English, being a non-native speaker, really impressed me. So I started having some doubts. I knew he wasn’t a bright student (academically speaking) and wasn’t that good in English.
Out of curiosity, I ran some of his writings through an AI content detector — and guess what — most of his writings proved to be AI-generated.
What a shame!
