When life gives you a paralyzed kitten, treat it like your baby
My life has changed a lot in the last few weeks.
All my attention is now centered to a kitten my younger sister rescued in September this year.
Sadly, the kitten was not a normal healthy one like others and that’s where the problem began. The lower part of her body was completely paralyzed. She used to drag herself using the front legs whenever she needed to go anywhere.
One fateful night, when my sister and brother-in-law were returning home, they noticed a tiny creature in the middle of a busy road. Curious, they approached it and discovered a kitten in miserable condition.
It was dragging its lower body and moving here and there for food. As its legs were paralyzed, they had no sense at all.
The plight of this tiny creature melted my sister’s heart. She carefully picked the kitten, placed it in her lap. Then, they started asking nearby people whether they knew anything about this unfortunate soul.
A poultry shop owner nearby informed my sister that this kitten had been abandoned and often roamed this area for food, surviving on poultry waste and scraps with some adult dogs. For some unknown reasons, dogs didn’t do any harm to this…
