Medford Leas broadcasts performances by world’s top musicians

This is part of the LeasMusiCast Series.

The LeasMusiCast Series, presented by the Medford Leas Residents Association, will offer residents and community members the opportunity to enjoy captivating performances by top musicians from around the world, spanning a number of genres, on the first Saturday of the month from March 4 until June 3.

The performances, taking place a 2 p.m. in the Medford Campus Theater, will take place via video. This facility has a state-of-the-art projection screen and sound system to simulate the sights and sounds of a live show.

The performances include:

March 4 –Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra performing Dvorak: Symphony №9 & Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition

April 1 — Placido Domingo and Catherine Malfitano in Puccini’s Tosca

May 6 — Verbier 20th Anniversary Concert

June 3 — BBC Symphony Chorus & Orchestra presenting The Last Night of the Proms

A $5 donation is suggested upon entry, and each performance includes hors d’oeuvres and other delicacies at intermission.
