Medford Police arrest man after marijuana found in vehicle

The following information was provided by the Medford Township Police Department.

On May 26 at approximately 12:31 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70 and Jennings Road for speeding. While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, patrols detected the odor of raw marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Police recovered suspected marijuana and paraphernaila from the suspect.

The defendant, a 54-year-old man from Marlton, was arrested and taken into custody. A search of the vehicle revealed no further contraband. Defendant was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, speeding and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Defendant was released on complaints, pending court.
