Planning Board to Hold Public Hearing on PPE Zoning
The Medford Township Council has requested that the Planning Board undertake an examination related to the suitability of current PPE Zoning regulations and make recommendations to Council for updates and modifications, with priority focused on uses, buffers and setbacks.
The PPE Zoning designation is utilized for areas in Medford where there is educational and recreational activities; including the operation of public and private elementary school facilities and quasi-public campground activities, as well as municipal buildings, churches, libraries and open space, parks and parkland and municipal infrastructure.
Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend the next Planning Board meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 starting at 7:30 p.m. where a public hearing will be conducted. Members of the public will be afforded the opportunity to comment on any aspect of the current PPE Zoning regulations. The meeting will be held at the Public Safety Building, located at 91 Union Street; and is live video-streamed and archived via the Medford Township website: http://www.medfordtownship.com/content/233/243/967/default.aspx
