Senior and junior members of the Make-A-Wish Club at Shawnee High School volunteered at Give Kids the World Village for four days. While there, they served food, operated rides, painted faces and contributed much more as they volunteered their time to interact with children facing critical illnesses as well as their families.

The Village depends on volunteers to help make a magical time for these special children. Students come back exhausted, but realize they had a life changing experience while at Give Kids the World Village, that volunteering and helping others reap their own rewards.
