Narcotics

On Feb. 9 at 2:08 p.m., the Medford Township Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a black Honda Civic bearing NJ w95gag.

The vehicle was stopped on Route 70 just east of Evesboro Road for an unclear plates violation (no front tag).

As patrols were obtaining the drivers credentials, suspected marijuana was observed on the drivers jacket. The driver was identified and a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed additional marijuana and suboxone.

The man was charged with possession of the marijuana, and suboxone without a prescription. He was also charged with motor vehicle summons for unclear plates and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

He was released on summons with a municipal court date.

Motor Vehicle Accident

On Feb. 5 at 12:44 p.m., Medford Police, Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of Tuckerton Road and Jackson Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, a woman was entrapped in her vehicle. The vehicle was stabilized and she was extricated by the Medford Fire Department utilizing the “Jaws of Life”.

Due to her injures, she was airlifted by a Med-Evac Helicopter to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden.

Initial investigation reveals she was operating a 2009 Volkswagen Bug and failed to stop for a red traffic signal southbound on Jackson Road.

The other driver was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban traveling westbound on Tuckerton Road and had a green traffic signal when the impact occurred in the middle of the intersection.

The incident is still under investigation by the Medford Township Police Department.

Robbery

On Feb. 11 at 2:30 a.m., Medford Police responded to a residence on Eaves Mill

Road for the report of a theft.

The investigation revealed that the two men threatened the resident and stole $370 in currency and an Apple iPhone 6.

They were each charged with robbery and theft by extortion and lodged in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail each.

Additionally, another man involved was charged with theft of a controlled dangerous substance and released pending Superior Court.
