Fair warning: this is a horrible, sacrilegious story, and it’s up there in terms of the biggest regrets of my life. Jesus can redeem absolutely anything, I am evidence of that fact. This story is offensive, but so are grace and mercy when those of us who don’t deserve either are given both.
