I overslept and was late leaving for my trip which meant I would arrive at the worst time — rush hour.

As expected, on the outskirts of the city, the traffic grew heavy.

I mentally prepared for the aggressive drivers, but to my surprise, there was no tailgating, obscene gestures, angry looks, or honking horns.

The drivers were quite accommodating.

After parking at the hotel, I saw the bright yellow magnetic sign on the car trunk: “Student driver. Please be patient.”

I had neglected to remove it after my teenager drove the vehicle the night before, and now I never will.
