Mother’s Day Heartbreak

I’m not your mom, but I am the mother of your children.

I said it. I did. I don’t want anything for Mother’s Day was my reply to my husband’s pointed question.

Guess what? I got nothing for Mother’s Day.

I didn’t mean don’t help the kids DO something for Mother’s Day.
