Do I need to pay or have an NFT to participate in MHC activities?

Nope. We value mental health accessibility. All our services are on free platforms like Twitter and Discord and are open to All.

What is the MHC?

MHC is a mental health non-profit organization for the Web3/NFT community. We provide mental health support and content on Twitter, Discord, and Medium. For more info about us, check out our roadmap!

We’re not an NFT project or promotional/marketing tool.

Who are the MHC’s founders?

Non-Fungible Therapist is a master’s level therapist focused on Web3 mental health. Since he finished grad school less than a year ago, he isn’t licensed yet but is in the process. “Non-funge” is un-doxxed for now. That’ll change once the IRS officially recognizes MHC as a 501(c)(3).

Mentz/Lewis is a mental health advocate from his own experiences struggling with mental health and wants to increase support and accessibility for others who have struggled like himself.

Why doesn’t MHC have an NFT?

Web3 mental health support is limited. As of now, we ethically cannot offer Therapy. We at the MHC feel that if an NFT investor was in crisis or needed Therapy, they should use that money for Therapy, not an NFT offering a potentially unsuitable product or service.

We also want to maximize mental health accessibility. Although we love NFTs, they are exclusive by design. You’re either a holder and a part of the club, or you're not. We wanted to avoid this and be exclusive to everyone.

What’s the MHC MadGradDad NFT on OpenSea?

MadGradDad is a talented artist with bipolar disorder that created an NFT in April 2022. It was a small collection of 30 editions sold on our old OpenSea account. (in June 2022, due to unforeseen circumstances, we restarted our socials) The collection did not sell out.

We intended to highlight and support MadGradDad in their creative journey. We have the wallet addresses of those who supported him. We plan to include them in the MHC in the future.

Who does MHC partner with?

MHC partners with post-mint NFT projects that wish to offer their communities consistent and appropriate mental health support and content.

We’re sorry, but at this time, we aren’t partnering with projects pre-mint.

How does the MHC make money?

As of now, we’ve made zero money. We have, however, received donations in the form of NFTs from artists, MHC community members, and our NFT partnerships.

Once officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS, we’ll apply for grants and develop a structured donation plan for the Web3/NFT community.

Can I set up a collaborative Twitter space with the MHC?

We already have a full schedule creating and delivering our daily mental health support and content. We also highly value inclusiveness for everyone. For these reasons, we can’t commit to exclusive activities for one specific project.

Our founders, however, love to join spaces randomly and show support.

How can I become more involved with the MHC?

If you wish to join us and help others by giving your time or sharing your expertise, we encourage you to participate in our Discord or Twitter spaces or contribute to this publication. The more, the merrier!
