Looking for Future Metaverse Entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists
I believe the Metaverse is the future of the Web itself. I want to help build a lot of new companies to lay the foundations and build solutions in the Metaverse. I want to help people form teams, build prototypes, get funded, find customers, and much more. This post announces a webinar on Thursday, February 3, a new slack community.
Background
I believe the Metaverse is the future of the Web itself, and that real-time, location-aware data will change the world in a much bigger way than Mark Zuckerberg thinks. I describe some of that future in this video and in other essays in this Medium channel.
Webinar
I will hold a webinar on Thursday, February 3, at 1pm EST for one hour explaining what the Metaverse is and why I think it is the future of the web itself. This will be a chance for entrepreneurs and people interested in jumping into the Metaverse to learn and discuss what’s happening. Register here.
A new entrepreneur/investor Community
There are already several good online communities for developers and creators, and an excellent community for Metaverse standards. I’m starting a community for Metaverse entrepreneurs seeking ideas, co-founders, capital, and collaboration. It’s also for Metaverse angels, venture capitalists, private-equity funders, customers, and other businesspeople interested in the future of the Web. We have categories to discuss technology, business verticals, personal data, privacy, new company ideas, jobs, and much more.
It’s free. It’s a Slack called XR Ventures. It’s not technical, it’s about business and the future. And, since it’s impossible to add a Slack sign-up form to Medium (why?), you’ll have to email me and I’ll send you an invite. See you there.
Please forward and help me promote both the event and the community.
Thank you.
